Dedicated Workmanship in Waterproofing

Aus-Flashings is celebrating a milestone in 2007. Twenty years of providing a dedicated specialist waterproofing service to builders and homeowners in South East Queensland.

Since becoming one of the first waterproofing companies to introduce a membrane system to the construction industry in Brisbane, we are now recognised as a leader in waterproofing. Back in 1987, Brad and Janey Chadwick slowly convinced builders who were using copper and pressed steel shower trays to change over to our fibreglass system. By word of mouth, Aus-Flashings quickly grew. We arfe proud that many of those builders who made the switch to our system in those early days are still valued clients 20 years later. Where soem builders have retired, we now work for their sons. Our newest clients still come via recommendation; the best and most humbling form of advertisign and industry recognition.

While some say fibreglass membranes are an antiquated method, with many acrylics now on the market, we swear by our system. Fibreglass membranes are impervious to water, cleaning chemicals, and will not rust.

The dedicated workmanship shown by the staff of Aus-Flashings is the most important aspect of our continued growth and success. Brad, as managing director, is a second-generation registered builder who understands effective waterproofing is essential.

As an apprentice, his Father instilled the credo, "Do it right the first time" - there are no second chances in waterproofing. Our specialised applicators, Andrew, Al, Ross and Russell have over 25 years experience combined in the industry, all attending regular waterproofing seminars and training to constantly update their skills and knowledge.

All the boys understand the waterproofing standard and the importance of neatness to the trades that will work on their membranes after them. Great pride is not only taken in their work, but also in the good name Aus-Flashings has established in the marketplace.
